Great conversations are great

Photobucket
Here's a really good conversation:
Briefly, to introduce Ferenheit, he is a friend I met whilst playing Final Fantasy XI some years back and he's been a friend throughout. He also drew all of my avatars and is, in fact the creator and the talented artist of the webcomic on my page titled Three Hole Punch. The conversation is via AOL Instant Messenger.

chaser dragoon 12:04 am
i mean
i guess it's moderately drastic
or was

Ferenheit 12:05 am
and for the month of april they arent charging anyone for [Final Fantasy] XI

chaser dragoon 12:05 am
i mean i'm sure it's still poor that way but not as much as after the immediate

Ferenheit 12:05 am
for the inconvennience

chaser dragoon 12:05 am
nice
i mean
it's a for real tragedy
and
i mean
it sucks
you know?
like
i don't know how it's going on now

Ferenheit 12:06 am

chaser dragoon 12:06 am
live updates kind of ended
once they told the american public once they don't like dwelling on the story

chaser dragoon 12:07 am
rofl
i think japan is smarter than we are
because they are forced to learn languages
because no matter what they do
hiragana, katakana, kanji and the english alphabet
or perhaps the roman alphabet
have to be learned

chaser dragoon 12:10 am
i think it's possible that

Ferenheit 12:10 am
did you see what was going around the japanese forums in response to the american effort in japan for the disaster?

chaser dragoon 12:10 am
learning multiple ways to communicate even if only by speech expands your mind
what was it?

Ferenheit 12:10 am
this is right out of the forums
“As expected of our friends!”
“USA! USA!”
“They’re so handsome. It’s like a movie, really.”
“I could cry. We’re truly grateful, America!”
“Sorry we were so hard-hearted. It seems America was our only friend after all.”
“They are really used to this stuff, aren’t they?”
“They really are tool cool. What is this sense of security I feel…”
“Please make Japan a state.”
“Guys who have seen actual combat are in a different class.”
“They are heroes, seriously.”
“As expected of our master! Japan will remain by your side as your Pochi forever!”
“Rather than seeing our government’s incomprehensible press conferences, seeing the US army on the ground is much more reassuring.”
“The SDF isn’t bad, but seeing this you can really tell how badly Japanese lack decisiveness.”
“I got wet when I saw this on the news. America can have me any time!”
“They seriously look too cool! USA!! USA!! USA!! USA!!”
“The USA is truly Japan’s ally!”
“If God made the world into a feature film America would be the protagonist.”
“Americans may be stupidly optimistic but they are certainly brave and believe in justice.”
“It’s amusing that we can rely on another nation’s armed forces more than we can our own government…”
“I cried!”

chaser dragoon 12:11 am
holy shit
are you serious

Ferenheit 12:12 am
yeah I know right
yeah

chaser dragoon 12:12 am
holy shit
i mean
that's hard to believe
i mean

Ferenheit 12:12 am
kinda makes you want to volunteer help right now huh ._.

chaser dragoon 12:12 am
i haven't experiences their hardships and their trauma
but

Ferenheit 12:12 am
but my money will have to do my talking for me for now >.<

chaser dragoon 12:12 am
or rather so,
but
no
it's not fair
if that's true
that they are incredibly thankful for our humanitarian efforts
then it's not fair

Ferenheit 12:13 am
Its so often you see another country just bash america. And I can understand why, but its never 100% necessary

chaser dragoon 12:13 am
because
no
it
it's not even that
because i bash america

Ferenheit 12:13 am
lol

chaser dragoon 12:13 am
we're terrible, evil and greedy people
a greedy nation
we're taught to be that way
it's all sociological
and
people in america

Ferenheit 12:14 am
Sure, but we have never failed to extend what we have when another country needed it lol. We are greedy, totally.

chaser dragoon 12:14 am
were saying that god caused the tsunami
because

Ferenheit 12:14 am
But we never NOT help when needed

chaser dragoon 12:14 am
of pearl harbor
and there were several
like

Ferenheit 12:14 am
as overwhelming as those reports are that is 39% of evangelical people who said those comments

chaser dragoon 12:14 am
people had no sympathy for japan and it's a large majority

Ferenheit 12:14 am
but you hear the reports and it sounds like so much more

chaser dragoon 12:15 am
it's just disgusting
it disgusts me
i have sympathy for japan on a humanitarian level

Ferenheit 12:15 am
Definately. Such comments are not only out of line, they are inhuman.

chaser dragoon 12:15 am
indeed
i agree

chaser dragoon 12:16 am
it just sickens me though

Ferenheit 12:16 am
But always remember, its the ones with the loudest voices that give a country/people their image. The silent are actually many, and they are on the ground right now helping

chaser dragoon 12:16 am
yes
though
partially
i disagree
because
we have such a precense(sp) on the internet
that people judge us that way
and stereotypes

Ferenheit 12:17 am
I can see some of the stuff coming out of say, Iraq, and judge the whole people based on that. The ones with the loud voices are the extremists. That doesnt make them all that way

chaser dragoon 12:17 am
well
i mean
to my knowledge

Ferenheit 12:18 am
Or canadians for example
nuff said

chaser dragoon 12:18 am
and mine knowledge is somewhat grand

Ferenheit 12:18 am
lol

chaser dragoon 12:18 am
(muahahaha)

chaser dragoon 12:18 am
bush is the reason
he represented us
as a people
and he ruined our reputation

Ferenheit 12:18 am
yeah. He was that voice

chaser dragoon 12:18 am
or credibility
our*

Ferenheit 12:18 am
and it was that one loud voice that gave us the image

chaser dragoon 12:18 am
yes
so i can see your point there but now that he did that
that that's over
and done with
our reputation is in place as is
though i know what you mean because
obama has changed people's hopes
brought them up
higher

Ferenheit12:20 am
I dont think I can remember a time when america hasnt sent aid to a disaster area in all the world. Yeah we are greedy bastards. Materialistic and vain. But we have never failed to extend a hand

chaser dragoon 12:20 am
yeah
because
it's expected of us
but that's just me being me
i'd never trust the government to do anything unless in the end they'd benefit from it

Ferenheit 12:21 am
Sure but we dont have to live up to that expectation. And yeah, if EU gets fucked up tomorrow, and we send aid, a month from now they will probably be talking shit about the country again.
But thats just who we are I guess.

chaser dragoon 12:21 am
even if it's having an ally that cool recooperate and aid us in the future
or to make sure they don't turn on us if/when the rest of the world does
could* not cool
jesus christ

Ferenheit 12:22 am
But yeah. Something to think about tonight, maybe even sleep a little better over, or even compose a blog about..... japan appreciates what we are doing and they will probably be one of our closest allies... for all time

chaser dragoon 12:22 am
yeah
because
if that's how the people think
they won't forget that, being the type of people they are

Ferenheit 12:23 am
you know how internet forums are. No one gives a shit what people think about their opinion. They are gonna be brutally honest. And the people right now, are appreciative whole heartedly

chaser dragoon 12:23 am
the problem is
if the positions were reversed completely
based on the type of people we are
we'd forget
based once again on sociology
and how we behave as a society in my eyes

chaser dragoon 12:24 am
i have little hope

Ferenheit 12:25 am
if things were reversed im sad to say I think we would be dragging ourselves out of the pit alone. Maybe england will give a crap... but something tells me we would do it alone off our own strength.
If its out of stupid pride or cause no one wants to help who knows

chaser dragoon 12:25 am
well
yeah
that's true
i mean
i'm sure canada would peek in and see what was up
only because they would feel obligated to
and mexico would continue to immigrate
not really affected by whatever disaster were to befall the united states

Ferenheit 12:26 am
And it would be a case of... shit hits us and then other countries who have been hit with such disasters would be like "See how you like it now" even though we sent aid

chaser dragoon 12:26 am
god dude i love being high i use words i NEVER use

Ferenheit 12:26 am
XD

chaser dragoon 12:27 am
i think it's all bushes fault
i mean that's all that's in my head now
bush was an awful president
who fumbled his own words and didn't know many
him and his cabinet made terrible decisions
9/11 was the government's doing, with very little doubt
it's all show

chaser dragoon 12:28 am
and now that we, the people have lost all power
we can sit back and watch as the world burns

Ferenheit 12:28 am
We are where we are now and we cant do anything about it now except maybe try to climb back out :/

chaser dragoon 12:28 am
or we can do something about it

Ferenheit 12:29 am
saying is always easier than doing though

chaser dragoon 12:29 am
of course
which is why i don't expect it
money is power
money is everything

Ferenheit 12:29 am
I mean, think about it.. .what would it REALLY take to get back in the good view of the world? I cant think of a single goddamn thing really
not one

chaser dragoon 12:30 am
money provides sustenance, glee, joy
because
there isn't one
it's not as much america
as it is the way of life

chaser dragoon 12:30 am
like i said
money is power
we ALL spend money
every human being on the planet
except maybe some of those in africa
and i envy them
by that logic though

Ferenheit 12:31 am
they eat uncooked meat ._. ive seen it

chaser dragoon 12:31 am
the economy is our 'god'
we pray to it, we feed it and it runs us
that's just how it is
and those who have the most money
run the country
run the world
the smartest, the richest people

chaser dragoon 12:32 am
they have the power and they move their pawns, the politicians in whatever direction they want
to form the world as they please

Ferenheit 12:33 am
So maybe we need to grab a few nukes and threaten the entire goddamn world ._. one entity completely seperate from any country or goverment. And say "if you dont play nice with each other we will take out both sides of the conflict"

chaser dragoon 12:33 am
and to get richer and more powerful

Fernheit 12:33 am
If only though

chaser dragoon 12:33 am
if only
what kind of society
real quick
not to change the subject and i'm not really
but
what kind of society would make laws
as to what you are allowed to put into your body
sort of a weed comment
mostly a weed comment

Ferenheit 12:34 am
one with control issues ;x

chaser dragoon 12:34 am
it just makes no sense
my smoking harms absolutely no one
or rather

chaser dragoon 12:34 am
maybe it does because
it was a catalyst
in my seeing things for how they really are
for my understanding the way life is

Ferenheit 12:35 am
only if you use said opportunity to do harm to another ;x if you just chill at home and play some games to pass the time wtf then

chaser dragoon 12:35 am
dude
i mean
i don't know if you've ever been high from marijuana
and
i don't know if you've ever been drunk
but
they are both very different things

Ferenheit 12:36 am
lol

chaser dragoon 12:37 am
drinking is more associated with violence and acting on unsavory thoughts

Ferenheit 12:37 am
one is nigh enlightenment if done correctly and the other is rambling, vomiting, and leud suggestions towards those of the opposite sex?

chaser dragoon 12:37 am
marijuana is more
chill
peaceful
relaxing
but contemplating

Ferenheit 12:38 am
well look at the culture we had natively that made it popular. The very notion was for peace if I recall

chaser dragoon 12:38 am
well
that was after
the hippies
and whatnot
peace, love
etc

chaser dragoon 12:39 am
but even back when george washington was president
it was a law to grow hemp
and there were smoking lounges in the northeast back then
with hashish and marijuana which are both like the same thing
but yeah man
we used to be much more liberal

chaser dragoon 12:41 am
more free
just took the wrong people to assume power
and try to hold our freedoms for more "safety"

Ferenheit 12:42 am
we gave them power technically ._. unless we are to assume a more... sinister method to their election to office

chaser dragoon 12:42 am
well we did give them power
but it's not like they said "we're going to start a war"
so,
it might not even be them

Ferenheit 12:43 am
true but it amazes me how sometimes... we gave the same person power twice

chaser dragoon 12:43 am
it might be a higher human power
well
we did that because of the war he started

Ferenheit 12:44 am
you started it, you finish it kinda shit? lol
like a slap on the wrist while still giving him another ice cream cone ._.

chaser dragoon 12:45 am
well i mean

chaser dragoon 12:45 am
during a wartime
the mass majority won't want to hand power to another man
unless he's doing an awful job wherever he was when reelected

chaser dragoon 12:47 am
osama bin laden actually
cannot be captured

Ferenheit 12:48 am
Do we even know if he is still alive? @.@

chaser dragoon 12:48 am
there was never enough to tie him to the attacks of septemeber 11th
so we were never, ever looking for him
bush is and the bin ladens are for real like
associates
not osama but his brothers
or relatives
and i mean that's word but
it's like
everything you see
on the news anyhow
is a lie
or rather
not nearly as believable

chaser dragoon 12:49 am
when they hit certain keywords
i don't trust it
ferenheit
you're a pretty cool fellow

chaser dragoon 1:06 am
but it's all gonna be okay
we can only hope
and regardless
no use complaining about it
what's done is done and we can only blame ourselves for allowing it to become this way

Ferenheit 1:07 am
Ah yes, one of my favorite quotes...
Hope against hope... such an endearing human trait, Im touched... really...

chaser dragoon 1:08 am
so we can do something about it or say it's out of our hands to make change and sit back and watch as we burn to the ground
i think we'll do the latter

chaser dragoon 1:08 am
it's the most logical position to take

Ferenheit 1:08 am
if history is anything to go bym and it usually is

chaser dragoon 1:08 am
to put trust in the people we elected to office to make the change we desire
that we'll never get because in truth they're not in power
you know what i mean?
am i hitting home with any of this or are you just justifying it by the fact that i'm somewhat inebriated
i really want to know tat
that*

Ferenheit 1:10 am
I never try to justify you, my friend. You do it all on your own. You havent said anything to me before in these conversations that makes me go "....."

chaser dragoon 1:10 am
i see
i just want you to see and understand my perspective
since i'm sitting here pouring myself out
in a sense

Ferenheit 1:11 am
This would make for some good blogging as well. Something to keep in the back of your mind
The problem with blogs is, you dont get responses in real time like with a good conversation
you get them all after the fact
and then whats the use

chaser dragoon 1:12 am
more often than not
on topics of this regard
i get no responses
no comments
no opinions

Ferenheit 1:13 am
bah ._.

chaser dragoon 1:13 am
that's the issue with a subject like tis
this

Ferenheit 1:13 am
if we are to become a better country, should we even keep the current party system? It seems to me a lot of good is fucked in the ass simply because the wrong side or the enemy party is backing it

chaser dragoon 1:14 am
which is, granted, a good majority of my more recent blogs
i think capitalism is a mistake

chaser dragoon 1:15 am
because eventually
or perhaps immediately but i was not alive throughout the life of capitalism
and we write the history

Ferenheit 1:15 am
Ive never been able to wrap my mind around opposing something that is obviously beneficial for the people just because that other party wants it done.... wtf srsly

chaser dragoon 1:15 am
oh sorry
wealth makes power
and power writes history
that may not have been how it started but i am unfortunately ignorant to the exact workings of the past

Ferenheit 1:16 am
and so does the church sometimes =.= but they are wealthy so... wouldja look at that lol

chaser dragoon 1:16 am
the church
i se

chaser dragoon 1:17 am
see
as a sham
christianity created this nation, regardless of the founding father's religious views
fathers'

Ferenheit 1:17 am
the whole "japan deserved it" thing, a lot of that was from religious groups who say the shinto/buddism of the japanese people as a slap to gods face
and that the heathens 'deserved it"

chaser dragoon 1:18 am
yeah
it's disgusting
i don't know if you're religious
you don
don't seem it but

Ferenheit 1:18 am
some bitch was on youtube praising god for doing it but I think that shit got taken down

chaser dragoon 1:18 am
i am unaware as to your faith
ignorant, perhaps but you've never shared it with me

chaser dragoon 1:19 am
and i think that was a troll
it's irrelvant now

Ferenheit 1:19 am
if you wanted a definition for my personal believes I think it falls as
Apathetic Agnosticism

chaser dragoon 1:20 am
yeah

Ferenheit 1:20 am
if you would like a definition I would supply

chaser dragoon 1:20 am
i'm agnostic as well at least
just seeing it as what do we know

chaser dragoon 1:21 am
all we know today are stories of the past that could have been exchanged so many times they naturally could have and did change for the fantastical

Ferenheit 1:22 am
there is too much stuff religions turn a blind eye too... too many FACTS of life they ignore because it contradicts their teachings. Its like purposeful ignorance
I am not above the spiritual or those who believe in any religion, but calling things like science and physics a lie because its inconvenient is... a bit much

chaser dragoon 1:24 am
sorry
i had to pee
and
i agree with that
completely

Ferenheit 1:24 am
it happens lol

chaser dragoon 1:24 am
essentially, that's how i think
except i live in the south so it hurts to see people with such adamant beliefs

Ferenheit 1:25 am
yeah its pretty strong the further south you go

chaser dragoon 1:26 am
and it sucks because i'm in a rather liberal area
counties and whatnot
but not as liberal as i can only hope you're in
but i don't know how texas is
stereotypes say you're stubborn and proud

Ferenheit 1:28 am
if you are catholic/christian you generally dont discuss your views unless you want a torrent of stupidity and blind faith to hit you
if yo arent
catholic or christian

chaser dragoon 1:29 am
but i'm 150% ignorant to how daily life is beyond my southern life
and how life is in a more liberal state
i'm just, once again unaware as to how texas is in comparison to south carolina
just like i don't understand how life is outside of the united states
i need to experience something firsthand to judge it and understand it
and i've only ever known this life

Ferenheit 1:31 am
could always plan in like 2 years to definately take a trip to another country. Could change your life forever

chaser dragoon 1:31 am
yes
my girlfriend and i wanted to perhaps make a europe trip by next year

Ferenheit 1:32 am
See, that sounds exceptionally nice

chaser dragoon 1:32 am
i agree
can't be 100% on whether it
it's going to happen or not
but one can just hope

Ferenheit 1:33 am
Excactly. Hope and plan

chaser dragoon 1:33 am
the world has slowly taken a turn for the worse though

Ferenheit 1:33 am
and if something should change, adjust but dont give it up

chaser dragoon 1:33 am
and that's what i fear most
we've forgotten pride
we've lost touch with nature
to those with power, money is the most important thing
we've lost sympathy and compassion
and it scares me

Ferenheit 1:35 am
I fear science fiction will remain just that... I don't think we can ban together as a species in time to make it into space before the planet can no longer sustain us and our ways

chaser dragoon 1:35 am
exactly
space shows on television

chaser dragoon 1:35 am
movies in that same regard
have but disappeared

Ferenheit 1:35 am
yeah ._.

chaser dragoon 1:35 am
we've realized
as a species
we'll never make it that far
thus
discontinued fantacsing(sp lol) about something that will never be

Ferenheit 1:36 am
It will never be earthlings or humans. It will likely always be race and nation that describes us
I do miss the optimism though

chaser dragoon 1:37 am
i miss it too

Ferenheit 1:37 am
it let you suspend belief long enough to have hope

chaser dragoon 1:37 am
yes
gave you faith

chaser dragoon 1:37 am
in the future, in your kin

Ferenheit 1:37 am
that they would never know this world as it is now ._.

chaser dragoon 1:38 am
yes
and i fear
we will only allow it
to become worse
blaming it on our lack of power to change things

Ferenheit 1:38 am
again, if history is to be believed, yeah, we most certainly will

chaser dragoon 1:38 am
we wont band together with everyone because we've been taught
that we're so different
whether it be due to race, sex, sexual orientation, religion
or personal beliefs
intelligence
we're so different
though
we're all truly the same

chaser dragoon 1:39 am
on a basic level
we're all human beings

Ferenheit 1:39 am
Its interesting we divide our selves into race we in fact we are one species

chaser dragoon 1:40 am
of course
but
well
there really is no reason
for racial identification
because we are truly all human beings
race should not be an issue
in fact
the fact that we have to provide race information anywhere
is indeed racist

Ferenheit 1:41 am
arent we called the human race sometimes? Its ridiculous what we do to ourselves

chaser dragoon 1:41 am
yes
because what importance, truly
does race have

Ferenheit 1:41 am
besides being able to categorize you neatly somewhere in a file? Nothing
Unfortunately I must sleep now. My eye lids grow heavy and I have a early morning tomorrow. I bid you farewell and sleep well my friend.

chaser dragoon 1:42 am
other than clinging to an old-fashioned racially divided view that we say upon questioning that we've forgotten about
okay man
was good talking to you

Ferenheit 1:42 am
Enjoy the rest of your evening~

chaser dragoon 1:42 am
we can pull off some good conversations
i shall
good night sir

Ferenheit 1:42 am
Farewell
